Overview

This role is an in-office position.  Candidates will need to work in the office Monday through Friday each week. This will only be impacted by Holidays or inclement weather. 

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Executive Director of Human Resources, works to support the
  • Daily tasks will include:
    • Handling HRIS data entry administration as it pertains to hires, terminations, transfers, licensing, promotions, pay increases, etc.
    • Reviewing Personnel Action Forms for completeness and accuracy and resolving discrepancies
    • Pulling reports and performing audits of HRIS system to ensure accuracy in the inputting of data
    • Running and distributing weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, as necessary.
    • Managing performance appraisal process to include updating of next review and next increase dates, pulling reports, and notifying Department Heads of upcoming appraisal due dates, etc.
    • Responsible for tracking employee licensing information and handling renewal notifications
    • Performing salary surveys and compensation analysis.
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of employment records, both in the file room and electronically, to include proper storage, retention, and accuracy.
  • Responsible for the preparation, tracking, maintenance, and periodic audit of all I9 records and work authorizations.
  • Maintaining Employee Referral program.
  • Additional tasks may include:
    • Creating/ Implementing Employee Programs
    • Assisting with Benefits and Leave of Absence administration
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Human Resources or Psychology.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in recruitment/Human Resources/Hospitality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality / professional discretion.
  • Progressive thinker with attention to detail and strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, with priority, while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to self-initiate value-added tasks.
  • Ability and desire to learn all facets of Human Resources to best assist applicants and employees with questions and concerns.
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required.
