• Oversees the responsibilities of the Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst, including in areas of training and development and use of department systems; Excel (pivot tables), database development, Showcase, INFOR financial views and report building.
• Responsible for the creation and production of analytical reports to be used by management.
• Designs new databases to support analysis functions and writes new reports as needed.
• Creates reports that can be used to evaluate financial results & develops reports for management, as needed.
• Acts as a liaison with the IT department and provides support for the ACSC system files and data warehouse.
• INFOR administrator, responsible for maintaining the financial database and installation of system upgrades. Leader for developing financial reports run through the INFOR system and maintaining the web application.
• Creates new business tools using Sequel Server, Excel Power Pivot, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Identifies actives that should be automated and leverages tools available using queries, Excel and INFOR to produce reports.
• Develops and maintains statistical models to accurately forecast future casino volumes and revenues.
• Provides data and analytical support for the development of operation and capital budgets and creation of strategic plans.
• Provides oversight and analytical support for operating reviews and development of reports.
• Provides support to marketing operations, as needed.
• Performs other ad hoc analysis as assigned by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• College degree with a concentration in Business, Finance, or Accounting, preferred. Advanced degree and professional certification, a plus.
• Three (3) to five (5) years demonstrated analytical capacities and related experience.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Showcase, SQL and/or other data query skills, required.
• Knowledge of and past experience in gaming industry, a plus.
• Prior leadership and managerial experience preferred.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in groups with strong time management skills.
