Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the production of all analytical reports to be used by senior management.
  • Writes new reports as needed, utilizing casino management system software.
  • Evaluates financial results & reports areas of concern to management.
  • Performs operational analysis of all business aspects and identifies potential opportunities.
  • Continuously looks for new ways to automate repetitive analytical tasks with IT solutions.
  • Develops statistical models to accurately forecast future casino volumes.
  • Performs all IRR and NPV analysis for proposed capital projects.
  • Perform all market research and analysis as needed.
  • Assists in the development of property master plan
  • Provides data and analytical support for the development of the strategic plan
  • Provides analytical support for quarterly operating reviews.
  • Coordinates with property department heads to monitor & track progress of various property initiatives laid out in strategic plan and provides quarterly updates to senior management.
  • Assists in the development of property operating and capital budgets.
  • Manages the day to day personnel requisition process.
  • Performs other ad hoc analysis as assigned by management
  • May be assigned to other departments for special projects on a periodic basis.
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BS with concentration in Finance/Accounting, MSIS or Computer Science required; PBA, CPA or CFA a plus.
  • Three (3) years of applicable business experience required.
  • One (1) year in an analytical role required.
  • Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Excel, Access, Showcase, Query & Cognos required.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
