Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the daily operation of self-parking and valet parking to ensure that all employees are providing guests with friendly, efficient and professional service.
  • Scheduling of staff to reflect business volumes with consistent focus on providing friendly, prompt, and efficient service while staying within budgetary guidelines.
  • Providing assistance to the Assistant Manager with hiring, training, coaching and counseling of team members, while ensuring compliance with standards of performance, appearance and operational procedures.
  • Enforces established procedures designed to maximize availability of guest parking during high volume periods.
  • Strong Accounting/Cashiering skills and understanding of the processes associated with the State Parking Fees.
  • Ability to plan and orchestrate procedures that result in safe, efficient traffic flow around the property.
  • Consistent focus on safe work practices and addressing such, as needed.
  • Visibility in the driveway, working with the employees to ensure efficient traffic flow.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in valet parking operations and/or commensurate experience in a supervisory role.
  • General cashiering knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of general business practices to include but not limited to accounting, human resources and customer service.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
