Responsibilities

  • The POS Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Responsible for the overall integrity of the POS system.
  • Oversees the daily POS operations to ensure proper performance and up-to-date features.
  • Oversees the daily POS configurations and integrated applications including adding new locations and users, menu and menu rollout implementation, and special promotions.
  • Works with the management team to understand business and operational needs and configure the POS system to meet those needs.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots POS terminal, POS printer and other peripheral hardware and software issues as they arise.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots technical issues and works with the IT team, POS vendor and/or third-party technicians to resolve such issues.
  • Develops, maintains and regularly reviews and revises training materials and Standard Operating Procedures for operating the POS system.
  • Trains new users on the POS system and communicates changes as necessary to POS system users.
  • Runs POS system reporting and reviews it for unusual and fraudulent activity.
  • Works with various departments on a daily basis to ensure POS system is functioning properly, to include Food & Beverage, Finance, and IT.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years’ experience utilizing a POS system to include functionality, API (Application Program Interface) and menu item construction.
  • Prior experience with InfoGenesis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
