Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs presented by users and recommend technical solutions with the completion timeline
  • Ability to diagnose issues and design solutions to complex and seemingly intractable technical problems.
  • Ability to observe company processes and find ways of making them better through technologies.
  • Maintain the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting technologies that align with the business strategic plans.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, and anticipating organizational requirements
  • Install hardware and peripheral components
  • Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, products, services and enterprise tools
  • Administer email, anti-virus systems, backup software, and all other enterprise application tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues relative to all corporate software in a timely manner
  • Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor relationships and contracts
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards with technologies
  • The technical solutions manager is also a supervisory role and oversees at times actions in an agile environment.
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • 10+ years of experience within the information technology field
  • Experience and proven success in deploying technical solutions in the gaming and hospitality industries.
  • Experience required with Microsoft windows server, SQL, backup product solutions, HA solutions, CISCO platforms, MS Licensing, IP TV technologies, POS systems, and gaming applications.
