  • Responsible for the collection, maintenance, and review of standard operating procedures (SOP’s), internal controls, submissions, regulatory compliance, etc.
  • Prepare schedules and timetables for the inspection of Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Controls, Submissions, etc.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of standards to ensure they are in line with external regulations and internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies necessary for minimizing risk of non-compliance.
  • Produce and interpret reports of inspection to provide information useful in making appropriate business decisions.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of specialized and general business policies in order to effectively manage risks.
  • Monitor compliance risk controls to identify deviations and offers recommendations on the management of compliance issues.
  • Elaborate on policy details to company management and provide insight and understanding of standards.
  • Correct and address issues of non-compliance in a manner that limits recurrence and promotes adherence to set standards.
  • Organize training programs to enlighten company staff on the benefits and consequences associated with either complying or defying external regulations or internal policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with relevant experts and professionals to analyze and develop standards for compliance.
  • Conduct amendment of SOP’s, Internal Controls, and Submissions as part of strategy for minimizing compliance risks.
  • Attend educational programs and conferences to stay up-to-date on regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors, external auditors and HR when needed.
  • Leads Responsible Gaming initiatives.
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager
  • Experience in risk management
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, SARC, etc.)
  • Experience writing internal controls
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Integrity and professional ethics
  • Business acumen
  • Teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail
  • BS/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP)) is a plus
